The fair was inaugurated by Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG) Managing Director Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said construction of the Bashundhara Medical City & International Hospital is set to begin with the vision of developing a modern healthcare facility featuring contemporary architecture and international-standard medical services.
The project, which is planned to be developed in Dhaka, will include a 1,000-bed international-standard hospital. The facility is expected to expand access to advanced and integrated healthcare services, particularly for residents of the Bashundhara Residential Area and surrounding communities.
Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said the project, being developed in partnership with S Rahman Properties, aims to establish important healthcare infrastructure that will serve local communities while contributing to the broader development of Bangladesh's healthcare sector.
He also expressed the expectation that the project would create long-term value and investment opportunities for shareholders.
“Bashundhara Group has been working to develop modern infrastructure while improving people's quality of life. Bashundhara Medical City is part of that continued effort,” he said.
He added that Bashundhara Group would support S Rahman Properties in implementing the project, with a focus on modern infrastructure, advanced healthcare services and the needs of the community.
Investment opportunities and benefits
The fair will continue until September 15 and will remain open to visitors and prospective investors from 3pm to 9pm daily.
The project is being implemented under the overall supervision of S Rahman Properties. Investors have been offered a range of benefits, including special discounts, flexible instalment facilities, discounts on medical services and opportunities for ownership of car parking spaces.
